Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and PT AFISENA LEARNING TECHNOLOGY (“Afisena”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of our LMS platform at afisena.com together with all school subdomains and connected custom domains (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you use the Service on behalf of a school or institution, you represent that you have authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

The Service lets school owners create and operate a multi-tenant online learning environment: user and academic-structure management, courses and materials, tests and assignments, adaptive learning and AI-assisted content creation, email notifications, and subscription billing. Available features may differ between plans as described on the pricing page.

• School owners register with a Google account and are responsible for all activity in the schools they create.
• Admin, teacher, and student accounts inside a school are created and managed by that school.
• You must keep account credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.
• Information you provide at registration and for billing must be accurate and kept up to date.

Schools are the data controller for the users they enroll (see the Privacy Policy). Schools are responsible for obtaining parental/guardian consent for minors, ensuring uploaded content does not violate the law or third-party rights, and properly managing their users' roles and access.

• Prices and features for each plan are listed on the pricing page of our website. Prices may change with prior notice; changes apply from the next billing cycle.
• Rupiah payments are processed by DOKU (PT Nusa Satu Inti Artha), a Bank Indonesia–licensed payment processor, via QRIS and virtual accounts. International (USD) payments are processed by Polar as merchant of record. We do not store your card data.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
• Additional AI credits (top-ups) can be purchased separately and are consumed by AI feature usage.
• Late or failed payments may result in a plan downgrade or suspension of the Service after a reasonable grace period.
• Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise on the invoice.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

The free plan is provided as-is with quota limits (including numbers of students, teachers, and AI credits). We may adjust free-plan limits with reasonable notice.

You must not use the Service to:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights, including intellectual-property rights.
• Upload content that is unlawful, misleading, contains malware, or endangers children.
• Attempt to access other schools' data, defeat security mechanisms, or disrupt platform operations.
• Misuse AI features, including to generate unlawful content.
• Resell the Service without our written consent.

• Schools and their users retain ownership of content they upload or create on the platform. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process that content solely to operate the Service.
• The platform, software, design, and the Afisena brand are ours and protected by intellectual-property law.
• AI-generated content is provided for the school's use in its teaching activities; the school is responsible for reviewing its accuracy before use.

AI features (content generation, learning assistant, adaptive quizzes) produce output automatically and may contain inaccuracies. AI output is not professional advice and does not replace a teacher's judgment. AI usage consumes credit quota according to the applicable plan and top-ups.

We work to keep the Service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance and may update, add, or retire features, with reasonable notice for material changes.

• You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms, remains unpaid past the grace period, or endangers platform security.
• After termination, school data is handled per the Retention and Deletion section of the Privacy Policy. School owners should export any data they need before termination.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits. Our aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably within thirty (30) days; failing that, disputes will be settled by the competent courts of Indonesia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-platform notice at least seven (7) days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
